At the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center (YRTC) in Geneva, we are all about giving youth opportunities to give back to the community, develop leadership skills, and to have a voice!
There is a process for YRTC youth to join the council in Geneva and interested candidates must meet certain criteria to be considered. However, if a youth is demonstrating positive behavior, being a good role model to others, and showing leadership potential, she is likely to be selected to have the opportunity to participate in this valuable program during her stay in Geneva.
Locally, our council explores community service projects, invites guest speakers, conducts awareness campaigns, plans campus wide activities, and provides training for public speaking opportunities, and helps each individual to develop their leadership skills.
